Two for Tuesday | My First Link-Up!

Hi there! Today I am linking up (for the first time!) with Chalk One Up for the Teacher for 2 for Tuesday! Two of my TpT products will be on sale through Friday... you don't want to miss it!

Since July is approaching so quickly, and before we know it school will be back in session (what?!?), I decided to put two special products on sale this week.

Student Data Tracking Folder

First up is the Student Data Folder that I use for my students' to track their data in the classroom. We all know how much the word data is stressed... why not put it in the students' hands??? Students quickly became familiar with when and how to use their folders, and before long it became a part of their routine and I no longer had to remind them to record their data!

Included in this product are 10 pages of graphs, including spelling tests, fluency, AR points, test data, assessment data, as well as a weekly reflection sheet! Check out this product here and look at the preview for more pictures.

Beginning of the Year (BoY) Big Bundle - Zebra Print

Next up is a brand new product I created for my classroom next year... a zebra print and brights Beginning of the Year Bundle! 120 pages of everything you need to set up your classroom just with a click of the print button. Check out this product here and check out the preview to see what all is included!

I would like to create this bundle in different themes as well, but do not know what to start with. What do y'all think? What is your classroom theme? What should I do next with this product?

Link-Up Listings

Last night, something big happened to me... I posted on the TpT Tips and Tidbits page about link-ups and linky parties. As a new blogger, this is something new to me and I want to gain as much knowledge as possible!

Well, a small post turned into a HUGE collaboration on a Google Sheet! I created a Link-Up Listings document for bloggers to have one location where many different link-ups and linky parties are organized. Bloggers can easily click on the tab of which day they want to search for, and then be given a list of different link-ups to participate in! What a perfect idea for those of us who obsess over organizing things. ;)

To access the google sheet, please send me an email at eberryhill@gmail.com, or comment below with your email address.  I would love to share this document with as many bloggers as possible!

Below you will find some tips for using and editing this document. Also, a HUGE thanks to all of you TpT Seller Challenge bloggers for making our lives just a little bit easier by joining and collaborating with us newbies! :)

There are 8 tabs at the bottom of the sheet. One occasional tab, and one tab for every day of the week. If there is a link-up that does not happen every week, please post it under the occasional tab.

When you click a day of the week, it will bring up any link-ups that happen every week on that day.

There really isn't any more to it than that! Remember to email me or comment below if you have any questions or suggestions! I can't wait to start linking-up with y'all!

TpT Seller Challenge Week 2: Dare to Dream

Week 2 of the TpT Seller Challenge is all about our dreams. This morning, I sat down and had some quiet time to reflect on where I am at in my life, both personally and professionally. Writing down these dreams and reflecting on them over time will surely set me up for success!
With all of the stresses of the world and real life, it is so important for me to have some absolute quiet time to reflect and think. I pray often, as well as read the Bible, but it is not often enough. The Bible app has some great reading plans... that I have started... but never followed through with. This is a huge goal for me, especially when the school year starts in August.
This is another dream that I do really well at starting, but then fall off the wagon a few weeks in. Since I have moved to Mississippi, I have not been where I want to be health wise. I'm sure some of you can relate... during the school day, sometimes all I need is that Diet Coke to get me through the afternoon! I'm hoping that this summer I can quick start eating better and exercising several times a week, which will hopefully follow suit into the school year.
Remember what teaching is all about. This one is so near and dear to my heart. Ever since I was little, I have always wanted to be a teacher. How unfortunate for my younger brothers and sister! When I first started teaching, I was motivated, encouraged, and satisfied. This past year, my fifth year of teaching, I experienced several days where I wanted to leave the profession. Having these feelings was (is?) heartbreaking to me, considering that teaching has been my lifelong dream. Don't get me wrong... I never have these feelings from 7:30am-2:45pm when I am with my students and get to watch them learn and grow. My hope and dream for next school year is to constantly remember why I'm a teacher, and why I could never leave the profession. It is all about the kids. I do it for them.
There isn't much to say about this last one; it is pretty simple! I am ready to lay down my roots, wherever that may be, and do some DIY! There are so many things I want to do in our 4b/2b rental, but it just doesn't make sense to spend that money until we have a home of our own. I'm ready to see what else life has in store for us.

What about you? What are your dreams? If you are not in the TpT Seller Challenge, or aren't even a teacher, I highly recommend you take a few minutes today to reflect on where you're at and what direction you want to go.

TpT Seller Challenge Week 1: Makeover Madness

Last week, I joined in the TpT Sellers Challenge hosted by four impressive teacher-bloggers! I couldn't wait to join the challenge, but was extremely hesitant in starting my own blog. I figured that I could squeeze by by only posting to other social media outlets. (Find me on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook too!) Little did I know by Week 2 I'd be 1,000 times more motivated to start my own blog!

Week 1's challenge was easy for me. I have been selling on TpT for almost 4 years now (WHAT?!), but have only been pushing my store for the last 6-8 months. There are several products in my store that need made over, being that I moved not only grade levels, but states and curricula as well!

My first makeover was a Gravity PowerPoint that I created and began using when I taught in Florida. Look at that ugly before! This product got an updated cover and went from 7 slides to 15 slides! I love putting these two covers side by side... it really shows me how far I've come with designing! You can find this product in my TpT here.

I was so inspired (and embarrassed by my other product covers!) that I did a second makeover in the same week! This product got an updated cover and went from 11 to 18 slides. It's amazing what a little push from some online friends will do for you! You can find this product here.

My plan to continue this Makeover Madness is to update one product a week (at least). I think this goal will really help in not only making over my TpT products, but my shop as well!

To celebrate the new The Berry Hill blog and Facebook page, ALL of my products in my TpT store will be 20% off through the weekend! Don't forget to leave feedback and earn those TpT credits!
